iSEE Vocab: Efficient Learning is a learning app for iOS, Android and Web, made by Z. ISEE & SSAT vocabulary prep with spaced repetition, adaptive tests and progress tracking. It’s made for Students preparing for the ISEE or SSAT, and the parents helping them. The latest version is 3.1.5, released Aug 8, 2026. It was built with help from Claude Code.

iSEE Vocab is a vocabulary app for students heading into the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) and the SSAT.

It started as a way to make vocabulary prep a short, measurable daily habit instead of a stack of paper flashcards. The app schedules each word with spaced repetition, so words come back right before you'd forget them, and practice tests adjust to how you're doing.

What's in it

  • 4,000+ words across four levels: Basic, Lower (grades 5–6), Middle (grades 7–8) and Upper (grades 9–12)
  • 9,000+ practice questions in the ISEE's own four-option format: synonyms and sentence completion
  • Definitions, pronunciation, example sentences, synonyms and memory aids for every word
  • Word meanings in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese
  • Playground modes: Quick Play, Long Play, Invite Battle (challenge a friend) and Shark Escape
