SAT Prep: Dark Horse Daily is a learning app for iOS and Web, made by Z. Digital SAT Reading & Writing drills across all eleven skills, with vocab levels and a live mastery board. It’s made for High-school students preparing for the Digital SAT Reading & Writing section. The latest version is 1.0.0, released Sep 13, 2026. It was built with help from Claude Code.
SAT Prep: Dark Horse Daily is a daily practice app for the Digital SAT Reading & Writing section.
It grew out of iSEE Vocab. Both apps come from one "Lego" codebase that builds ISEE, SAT and GRE apps from per-exam configuration, but the SAT app leads with reading: one short passage, one question, the same format as the real test.
What's in it
- Nearly 1,000 original questions, every answer explained, written to the College Board's published test specification. No retired or copied College Board items.
- All four domains and eleven question types: Craft and Structure, Information and Ideas, Standard English Conventions, and Expression of Ideas
- A live mastery board across all eleven skills, so you can see which question type is costing points
- Full 27-question modules against the clock, or single-skill drills
- 2,500+ vocabulary words across three levels with spaced repetition. Most are quoted inside a real SAT-style passage.
- PvP battles and daily drills, with progress that follows you between devices
